Why Divine Healing Still Works Today

Divine healing still works today because Jesus Christ has not changed. The same Lord who healed the sick, opened blind eyes, restored the broken, and delivered the oppressed is still alive and moving by His Spirit. Healing is not just something God did in the past; it is part of His divine nature. His Word declares who He is, and His promises remain true for every generation.

The power of divine healing is not based on man’s opinion, tradition, or religious limitation. It is based on the finished work of Jesus Christ, the authority of God’s Word, and the faithfulness of the Father. When people allow traditions of man to rise above the truth of Scripture, they can make the Word of God “of none effect” in their lives. But God’s Word has not lost its power. Faith receives what tradition often explains away.

Jesus never taught that healing would end with Him. He commissioned His followers to preach the gospel, heal the sick, cast out devils, and proclaim the Kingdom of God. Divine healing continues today because the gospel is still alive, the Holy Spirit is still active, and the compassion of Jesus is still reaching those who are hurting.
