Photo Exhibition

The selection of photos represents T O’hep’s exploration into Abstract Photography as a vehicle for expressing various experiments in philosophy and identity. This series was shot between, 2014 and 2016 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The photography represents a physical iteration of T O'hep's experiences in the study of shifting modes of consciousness.

Colours and movement direct the eye of the viewer to their meditative contemplation of the subconscious and the superconscious, both fragments of the being which cannot exist within tangible constraints. Each photography capture draws out an awareness of the universality and interconnectivity between us, the human race.

Artist's BIO

T O'hep is known for his provocation and mystique. He discovered his passion for photography while growing up in Venezuela documenting deserted Caribbean beaches using a disposable film camera. He has called Vancouver home since 1995, where he uses photography to capture alternative dimensions of light and movement without using alterations.

This year as an experiential performance artist, T O'hep has solely performed at the Unicorn Ball organized by the Pride Society, Intention Gathering Festival and at events organized by the Dreamhaus and Villa Trilla, both part of the Vancouver's collective housing network.

I AM WE Arts Society

I Am We Arts Society is a non-for-profit organization aiming to build bridges of communication between emerging Artists, the Arts Community at large, and Art buyers. We are establishing the society's legal incorporation by June 2017.

The purpose of the Society is to be the link between the emerging artists and the art buyers' community by designing alternative conscious art spaces, events, and experiences to showcase the creations of local artists without the illusory concern about money.
